"Doc" doing what he did best!
We were gifted, not that long ago, with our very special boy that was filled with so much life, happiness, courage, strength, and love to the very end. Never wanting to give up on anything or anyone. Never met or done harm to a single living sole. Would do anything you asked even if it meant doing something he didn't want to do. Would always cry out too you when you left him alone, as in protest because you didn't take him with you every time. Our wonderful boy, with such gusto and enjoyment, gave special attention, just being himself, too many in nursing homes, hospice care, children, dog shows, family, friends, neighbors, pets, and large functions. A special dog that many wanted to take home with them, whenever they first met him. One that helped many get over their fears of the breed, large dogs, and past experiences. Always good natured, never done wrong or ever wanted too!

It has taken some time to share this publicly and believe in me that it comes with great sadness to inform all of you the passing of our boy, Doc, when he left us Friday, the 13th, around 11:30 am. He lost his battle to cancer. He put up a long strong fight and was determined to beat all odds, in his own courageous way! However, this horrible disease just wouldn't leave his poor body alone, attacking every inch of him, except his loving heart and beautiful spirit. Doc was 11 years, and 2 months, to the date. In loving memory of my sweet Bubba 1996-2007; Multi-BIS U-CD Ch. VonBaker Jekyll V Tapferfherz, Am/Can CD, HIC, TT, RTD (retired), Total Dog Award, Top 10 Rott '97-'98, BOB Winner '98 Top 10 Invitational.
To many he was known as "Wiggle-Butt", which explains how big his heart was, but too us, he was so much more! He was truly one of a kind and extremely good-natured. He will never never ever be replaced. He has never ever compared to another dog we've owned. He will always be in our hearts and memories as that one dog that every owner wanted to own, but are not always graced to have. We were fortunate to have such a dog! After-all, he was my heart dog and this passing of him is eating me to the core! I miss him horribly, so much that, I still feel his presence here so strongly.

Mark and I want to thank Pat, Robert, and Michelle Baker, of Von Baker Rottweilers, for trusting and blessing us all these years, with such a wonderful boy! A Ditto son, so beautiful, in more ways then we could ever count. As breeders of fabulous sound dogs in mind, body, and soul, always having the spirit of what a true Rottweiler should be, for being such wonderful supportive friends and being a part of Doc and our lives all these years, is a huge reason why Doc was so very special too us!!! Thank you from the depths of our hearts!!!

We also appreciate all the friends (human and pet alike), and especially the kids that visited Doc over the years, that took time out to play with him and enjoyed his company.

We miss you so much Docker-Doodle! Until we meet again........
